Nicole Hartz

After passing the 2008 Arkansas Bar Exam, Nicole Hartz joined the Mitchell Blackstock Law Firm as an associate practicing in a variety of areas.

Before coming to the firm, Nicole worked as Teen Court Coordinator for Circuit Judge Rhonda Wood. She previously served as an extern for U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln and U.S. District Court Judge William R. Wilson, Jr., and as a research assistant for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

Nicole graduated with Honors in December 2007 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. While in law school, Nicole received the Dean’s Certificate of Public Service for her commitment to community service. Nicole received Top Paper on the Family Law Section of the 2008 Arkansas Bar Exam.

Nicole received a B.A. degree from Ouachita Baptist University, where she double majored in Political Science and Speech Communications. While attending OBU, Nicole served as President of the Student Senate, Vice President of the EEE Women’s Social Club, and participated in the Debate Team and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She received awards including the Rotary Club Service Above Self Award and the Betty Oliver Grant Award.

Nicole currently serves on the board of Access in Action, a young professionals group that support Access Schools. She is a member of the Pulaski County and Arkansas Bar Associations. Nicole and her husband Ben live in Little Rock.
